Transforming Mental Wellness
Sadé Batchelor, LMHC
Hello,
I created Hey Sadé Therapy, PLLC to break the stigma around mental health and help youth and young adults, especially in the BIPOC community, reclaim their peace.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York with an M.A. and M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. My style is flexible and client centered. I blend evidence based practices with body focused techniques because I believe healing involves the mind, body, and spirit.
Equity and advocacy have always been at the center of my work. I’ve supported children, families, and educators across NYC as a behavioral therapist, child development specialist, early childhood consultant and non-profit program manager. Those experiences shaped my passion for helping young adults, professionals, and organizations build supportive spaces where people can thrive.
I’m committed to bringing a multicultural, anti-oppressive lens to all of my work. I love supporting BIPOC students through school consultation, advocacy, and guidance for educators and staff. I also work directly with youth and young adults, helping them build skills for wellness, growth, and self understanding. Beyond that, I partner with workplaces to promote wellness at every level. Through tailored consultation, I help teams strengthen systems, create supportive environments, and build sustainable practices that center equity, well-being, and growth.
I started @HeySade.Therapy on Instagram to share practical, stigma free mental health resources. That space has grown into community consultations, workshops, and individual sessions, all created to uplift, connect, and inspire healing.
Every day, I’m moved by the resilience and creativity of the people I work with. It’s a privilege to walk alongside you as you reclaim your peace and step into your full potential.
With warmth + care,
Sadé Batchelor, LMHC
